Leah Clearwater || 23 || Beta-Werewolf || Twilight Saga || FC: Naya Rivera
Bio:
Leah Clearwater is the eldest child of Harry and Sue Clearwater, older sister to Seth Clearwater. Throughout most of her high school career, she was dating and happily in love with Sam Uley, until her boyfriend started to act strange after a couple weeks of disappearing Junior Year. When he returned he wouldn’t tell her anything, and though the couple went on happily, Leah could feel something changing between them. It was the tip of the iceberg when Leah’s cousin Emily Young came to visit her family in their town of La Push, Washington. Before she knew it Sam and her were done for good, and him and Emily were happily together - and now, married. The breakup left Leah feeling bitter and heartbroken. But when her father died and Leah changed into a werewolf (the first female shapeshifter in the history of her pack, the Quileutes), her anger and aggression only got worse. Yet it took some time, and now Leah has started to warm up to the werewolf idea - though she would never admit it herself. She has become closer (though more overbearing) of her little brother, and after becoming Beta in Jacob Black’s wolf pack the two have got a somewhat closer relationship, that some might call friendship. She’s not a fan of vampires, but her time with the Cullens had warmed her up to them somewhat; she has a special soft spot for Esme Cullen, and really hates Rosalie Hale.

Ummm, [looks behind self], nope, no “admins” here, just the one.
Currently I don’t play anyone, though previously I played Eskarina Smith from Discworld. I am at the moment undecided on which character I should take, or if I should even take a character to start with.
So, don’t worry, everyone who is listed as open is in fact open, and you’re free to apply for them.

Emma Bloom || Physically 17, Mentally 88 || Miss Peregrine’s Ward and Assistant || Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children || FC: Willa Holland
That was quite the performance you gave earlier. I particularly enjoyed the fainting. I’m sure the theater lost a fine actor when you chose to devote yourself instead to murder and cannibalism.
Bio:
Emma was a very unique Peculiar child from the very beginning. Even though her parents tried and tried their hardest to get her sold to circus’ so that they wouldn’t have to deal with her. Soon, desperate measures were took and they left her one night at a circus. But, she was soon found by Miss Peregrine and she took her into her home. She grew up very distant from the other children and wanting to keep to herself, even though it never happened. All the smaller children were enamored with her. She has the bad habit of sometimes jumping to conclusions and feel as though people are plotting behind her back. She is very sensitive though to some subjects. Such as her parents and love, which causes her to go mute and not talk for long periods of time. But once you break that hard exterior, she is a very sweet and kind girl. Just misunderstood, like most of the children in Miss Peregrine’s home. It just takes some time and patience to knock away at the walls that all the children have surrounded themselves with.
Things had occurred over her years of her life, much things she doesn’t like to remember or even speak of. She won’t tell you much of what has happened, but if you get on her good side and she can trust you she may just tell you a story or two about her life and her very stressful endeavors that she has had to go through with the other peculiar children.

Well, I’d hope he hasn’t, considering he hasn’t gotten much of a reason to. But then, the dead do have all the time in the afterworld.
Everyone please welcome Odd.
Alright so now that we’ve gotten most of the links in from first casting (even if I haven’t gotten all the OC bios up yet, whoops), we can roll along to the second edition! Exciting stuff.
Anyway, for canons:
For player-writtens:
Congratulations, and welcome to (or back) to the shop. We’re excited to have you along for the ride. Please be sure to send in your links as soon as possible.

I believe most of us were already calm, but thank you for the reminder to remain so.
Everyone go plop after.

It’s an alternative universe yes, however the characters have (on the whole) lived at least part of their book(s) stories.
So for someone like Bella, whose basically been transplanted from modern America to modern Australia, they’re going to be in for less of a shock than to say, William Herondale, who went from 1878 London to modern Australia. However, they all “traveled” there by some form or another, so it’s not like they’re missing a chunk of their memory. Things are just… curiously different.
There are of course some characters that have lived in the town a while, and consider everything totally normal. But none of them realize they’re book characters, no.
Hopefully that was helpful.

Yes, right, very good and all that. I’m sure Charlotte Mew would be very impressed.
Everyone please go plop along after.
Right, never is, is it darling? Only you always seem to notice it.
Please go follow if you could.

Sure, you’re free to apply for her, or any of the rest of the Uglies characters. As of right now, I have no specific plans for them.
If you had any other questions or concerns, just let me know.
